About Our
Founder.
Md. Yousuf is one of the pioneers & respected leaders in Survey & Inspection field, with over 55 years of experience. He founded KARNAFULI ASSOCIATES in the mid-1970 with a vision to bring global standard, transparency, commitment and professionalism to all types of Marine Cargo & Marine Hull Survey & Inspection and to provide seamless Solution & Services to its Clients with quality reporting & assessment. Apart from Marine Survey, he also contributed in Insurance survey & valuation like Accident, Fire, Machinery Breakdown & Erection through his long experience.
Mr. Yousuf being a Chief Surveyor of the firm currently holds the position of Managing Partner aiming to play the leadership role with his long expertise & reputation in the Marine Survey field uplifting the image of the firm across the country and globally with integration and affiliation through partnering. Our Services
CARGO SURVEYS:
Our firm carry out of initial & final Draft/ ullage Survey initial hatch opening cargo survey, tally of all commodities including steel products, fruit, meat, fish, reefer cargoes, cocoa, coal and other bag cargoes, heavy lifts, machinery, project cargoes, machinery breakdown, Fire, Motor, pre-inspection, Post landing inspection, miscellaneous, Break-bulk cargoes and steel scrap. Container inspection, stuffing, un- stuffing, securing, Cargo and container damage off-hire, on-hire bunker survey, quality control, quantity verification, valuation etc.
PROJECT CARGOES:
Complete inventory, packaging and transportation from inception to arrival destination.
TANKERS:
Cargo shortage, contamination and expediting cargo operations, Ullaging and sampling of petroleum products, vegetable oils, molasses and all bulk liquid cargoes.
HULL SURVEYS:
Damage to Hull Equipment and Machinery, Vessel’s condition/vetting purchase, chartering or insurance coverage. Vessel fitness to load cargo including hold Cleaning Condition, Collisions, Groundings and other marine accidents.
PORT CAPTAINS:
We can load and discharge vessels for all bulk, break bulk and container cargoes. We will liaison with Stevedores and Agents to ensure maximum production, safety, low costs and quick turnaround.
CLAIMS REPRESENTATION:
We can represent you in claims handling. Cargo arrived with damages. Call us whether insured or not insured.
MARINE SURVEYS:
On and Off Hire Bunker and Condition surveys, Draft survey to determine bulk/liquid cargo quantities, General Average surveys.
ACCIDENT:
we do survey of all sorts of vehicle’s accident.
FIRE & FLOOD:
we do survey of all sorts of Fire and flood survey claim for Factory & Properties.
